SUGARLOAF COTTAGES 2002
Well, we held our 3rd annual bass derby this past March 23, 2002. Even with the bad weather we all still had a great time! We had 17 teams this year, 5 more than last year. All 8 original teams were with us again. We sincerely THANK all of the teams for their support. We could not do this without you.
It was a wonderful dinner again at the Basshole Bar and Grill. The food was superior. Dave and Cheryl and their staff did an awesome job!
THE WINNERS ARE:
- 1st place with a $200.00 cash prize went to the LACHMAN team with a weight of 8.48lbs. This was the first year for this team.
- 2nd place with a $100.00 cash prize went to the COOK team with a weight of 7.98lbs. The cook team was last year's winner.
- 3rd place with a $50.00 cash prize went to the HARMON team with a weight of 7.4lbs. The Harmon team is one of our original 8.
- Biggest fish prize of $50.00 also went to the LACHMAN team with a fish weight of 2.57lbs.
A special note to Eric Hibler who has come such a long way from the first derby where his lines got tangles to this year where he came in 5th.
The date for the next derby is set. It will be the weekend of March 29th, 2003.
